Both teams played 4th game in the qualification stage and both teams had won their first 3 matches. There was no goal against both teams up to last night.

Turkey had great porformance till the last minute. After falling behind(Kyrgiakos (Greece) 5′) Turkey find the equaliser (Tuncay Sanli 27′), it was the sore of first half.

In the second half Turkey scored 3 goals(Gökhan Ünal, Tümer Metin, Gökdeniz Karadeniz) and honorable victory came.

Kobe Bryant is now the second player of all NBA history having more than 50 points in 4 matches after one another. First player is of course Wilt Chamberlain. In that season(61-62) his average was 50.4 pts and 25 rebs but he couldn’t be selected as season MVP. :(

Turks in one match

There are three Turkish player in NBA teams:
Mehmet Okur ( Memo ) at Utah Jazz
Hidayet Türkoğlu ( Hedo ) at Orlando Magic
Ersan İlyasova at Milwaukee Bucks

Two of them (Hedo and Memo) versus eachother at Amway Arena. Both Turkish players played well and effective.

Memo gets reb

Memo played 40 minutes and got 12 rebs He had 20 points and 2 asts. %100 freethrow shoot and amazing(%60 - 3/5) 3pt shoot performance.

Hedo is going to score.

Also Hedo had great performance. He had 22 pt and 8 reb and also 4 ast and stl.
